I
made Mustard a Halloween costume this year.
I found this cute Candy Corn Pet Sweater pattern from DIY Maven and decided that
Mustard should get one. I only made it
for one of my cats because I knew my other cat wouldn’t let me get anywhere
near him with a crochet sweater without it entailing me loosing skin. Although, the thought of matching sweaters is tempting...
I think
the sweater turned out good. If I had to do it
again I would make it longer because Mustard has a long body. Mustard didn't really mind it, but he was walking around backwards because he couldn't figure out what had a hold on him.

Crochet Sampler Afghan
Can you believe it…another finish! These have been far and few this year. I started this crochet sampler afghan in May
and just finished it the other week. It’s
been a busy year with school and work, not leaving much time for projects. Here is the link for the pattern I used. I added 4 extra squares to make the lap
blanket a little bigger so it ended up being 4x4 squares. I used "I Love This Yarn" from Hobby Lobby. If you have a ravelry account more project details are here.

Packers Brimmed Crochet Hat
My friend’s dad asked me to crochet him a beanie in Packers colors with a brim. I found this freecrochet pattern. I cut out a piece of plastic canvas to help hold the brim form. This hat looked pretty cute on Doreen so she let me take her picture in it again.

Brown Bunny
I haven’t completed many projects this year since I started
going to school on top of working full time.
I finally finished this little bunny set for a co-worker that is having
a baby boy. You can see my project details
in Ravelry for the Brown Bunny. I got this
pattern from InnerHooker etsy site.
Bunny hat, I made this pattern for 3 to 6 months.
Here is the front of the diaper cover.
Back of the diaper cover.
Front picture of the hat and diaper cover.
I wanted a picture of the front of the bunny hat and the tail on the back of the diaper cover. I think the tail is my favorite part.

Minion Beanie
I made this Minion Beanie for my Mother-In-Law. Sorry I can’t provide a link to a pattern
because I didn’t use one. I used a basic
beanie hat pattern that I crocheted in yellow and included a black strip. Then I made a black circle out of double
crochets, and changed to white on the second row. The goggle is then completed out of grey
single crochets until it became the size I imagined. I stuffed it and sewed it onto the hat. I then stitched on a mouth and tied hair on
top. I’m pretty proud of myself for not
using a pattern, but I did not write down what I did as I went. Maybe next time I will remember.
Craft making has slowed down since January for me since I am going back to school and working full time. I still have a few projects under way but the progress is slow.

Good Feelings
Nothing makes me happier as when people tell me that they love and use the items I make for them. I made my friend's son a snow camo beanie because he liked the one Mike was wearing (in this post). She said he wears it everywhere and tells everybody that it is a "2 of a kind" hat. This makes me so happy that he loves that simple little hat. I can't ever tell him that there are actually 3 matching snow camo hats out there in the world...I did make a third one for a friend!
I do get stupid comments sometimes. Mike gave a beanie to one of his co-workers who had been asking him for one. I guess his co-worker's wife asked whose Grandma made that hat (haha)! She must not be a fan of my crochet items. Well...I guess you can't win them all!
