I took a beginning knitting class from
Knit Unique last February and learned how to knit a pillow. The pattern is called "Thick and Wooly Pillow". I decided to knit a second pillow and just finished it! I got a little distracted from my projects this summer. Here is a picture of the front view.
The front alternates between garter and stockinette stitches with button holes.
The back is worked in garter stitches. The buttons seal up the pillow.
I think the buttons are my favorite part, to bad they are in the back of the pillow! Here is a close up picture of the front stitches.
I think the pillows turned out good for my first knitting project. I am giving them to my Mom to put on her white couch. I am afraid my cats will destroy them if they are at my house!
